Meet Your Instructor

Steve O'Neal

After a four-year tour of service in the US Coast Guard, Steve joined his father's telecommunications business.   The exposure was vast - everything from network cabling, to phone systems, routers, cable TV, and even Payphones (if you’re old enough to remember those!)

After a few years of working for his father, he ventured out on his own with more of a determination to lean into the data networking side of the industry.    But Steve also took with him the secret of wholesale contracting he had learned while working for his father’s business.

This was a more preferable business model as it didn’t come with the pressures of serving direct, public customers and all the responsibilities that could entail.

Since his start in the mid 1990’s, Steve has moved back and forth between Technology Contracting and regular technology day-jobs.   The time spent between working as a self employed technology contractor and working as an employee has been about 50/50.

In more recent years, Steve has been busy sharing his IT and Telecom knowledge through DIY and How-to videos on Youtube.

Today, he combines all the years of industry experience and his penchant for video teaching into the creation of training products to enhance the lives of motivated individuals seeking to take their craft out on their own.
